Science Challenge Club at the 1st Internationals Science Fair
On March 7th, the Science Challenge Club brought its hard work to the public at the very first of what we hope will be many Internationals Science Fairs. At International High School at Union Square, several International schools from around New York City shared a day highlighted by a talk on urban agriculture by Dr. Dickson Despommier of Columbia University, poster-sharing sessions about our DNA barcoding projects, and pizza. Meeting and seeing the work of so many scientists is what collaborative science is all about. We're looking forward to sharing our work later this year at the Symposium for the Urban Barcoding Project. Please congratulate these young men and women for their scientific accomplishments and wish them luck as they complete their projects!
