FIHS students attended the Coding and Entrepreneurship workshop on Jan 21 & 22.
The students worked with mentors throughout the weekend on the campus of Columbia University to learn about coding, web design, developing a business plan and networking and collaboration skills.

They had a contest for the best business pitches, and a group with students from our school won 3rd place, they are Sayed Waseed, Jun Xiang Wang, Hao Chen, and Ray Ouyang. That is them with the over-sized check. Their idea was called Spotfinder, an App to find parking spaces.
